I knew Jay back in 1979 - 80 - 81. I loved reading this description of him as an adult. I have so many memories of him - he was such a sweet boy. I often took him to a local lake and he just adored going for rides in our boat. He willingly wore a life jacket and always wanted to sit in one of the seats at the back next to the engine. He just smiled all the time with the wind in his hair riding around on the lake. Reading about his fashion sense reminded me of taking him shopping for school clothes one year - he did not (at that time anyway) like shirts that buttoned down the front, and he made that very clear! I would have loved to see his fashion choices when he was older! I have such... wonderful memories of the time I spent with Jay. I am sad that he has passed on, but truly loved hearing about his happy life after the time I knew him. He was a sweetheart!Read more
