Like everyone, I was devastated to hear of hear passing. I worked with Krissy at Downeast school. I was the boys music teacher. I pray for them as well as her friends and family everyday. I loved to stop into Krissy’s room and watch her so her thing. Her students LOVED HER. I can’t imagine how the first day of school will be like a Downeast. Hold your head high, and remember her with love and smiles!

We are so proud to have been Krissy's parents. We knew she was a wonderful person, but didn't know she touched so many people in a very deep way. It turns out she was a superstar. We are so appreciative of all the wonderful comments from all of you. Our hearts are broken. We now here to see that the boys she loved so much get to become superstars also. They are great boys and I am sure will grow into a role that would make their mother proud.

This week has been hard, I can not imagine how hard it has been for your parents, brother, boys and Kevin. I can't stop thinking about you and how loved you are. You are greatly missed by so many. I had so much fun working with you at the Weathervane clothing store. You always came in with a smile and great attitude. Years later I got to see you at a mutual friend's birthday party. Your smile was still contagious and we picked right up where we left off from those shifts of waiting on customer and hanging lots and lots of freight! We talked about our sons and life. We were in Similar situations as single Mom's at that time. I was so pleased to see you find Kevin. You deserved all the ha...ppiness in the world. The world that was a better place for having you in it. Fly high angel.❤Read more

Krissy quickly became my first best friend when she moved in down the street, on Edgewater Drive. Although I haven’t physically seen her in 25+ years, she has held a special place in my heart all this time. Hearing of her passing has profoundly affected me this week as I replay so many memories of our early childhood, and try to make sense of it... doesn’t seem fair to her friends, brother, parents (all of whom I still remember so fondly), her fiancé, and most of all those handsome boys. I hope you all are able to find peace. My deepest sympathies to everyone.

Krissy, hearing this news just about knocked me off my feet. My mind is going through the Rolodex of memories we had of when I first moved to Brewer and you were one of my first friends. I'm so sorry to your parents, to your brother, to your kids and to the rest of your family and friends.. what do you say at a time like this?! I will forever keep you in my memories and we will be in fifth grade all over again. Xoxo

I have been so sad after hearing of your untimely passing. Life can be so unfair, and your sudden departure from this world reminds me of the fragility of life. Some of the fondest memories of my life revolve around you, my sister (kristen), mindy, gail, krystie and parties at the Goulet house.

You all were/are like little sisters to me.,and even though we haven't seen each other in years, your sudden departure from this world cuts deep, and has made me incredibly sad. . Your smile could always light up a room,. And wiould always put a smile on my face . Rest in peace .

My first reaction...I’m at a loss for words. My heart hurts for her boys, her family, her loved ones, and all of the countless students who were honored to have been touched with her knowledge, her kindness, and her care, as if each student was her own child. A remarkable teacher, a very sweet, kind and loving person. Our community was lucky to have such a wonderful person. My heart goes out to all of you that she touched.

Mrs. Miner was my daughters teacher last year. She was always so excited to go to school and see her. She would come home every day and tell me how much she loved her. Mrs. Miner was the reason I started going to the pta meetings. Kristen was an amazing teacher and person. I will miss seeing her smiling face and Her loss will definitely be felt this upcoming year. It was a terrible shock that doesn't seem possible. My condolences to all her family. She will be greatly missed.
