Harmony, Maine - On November 9, 2023, Kelli June Magoon of Harmony, Maine, passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones. Kelli was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Born October 18, 1977, the daughter of Lois I. and Dana L. Brown of Pittsfield, Maine, Kelli impacted countless lives during her 46 years.

Kelli was a 1996 high school graduate of Maine Central Institute. She then went to Pennsylvania to earn her bachelor's in nursing at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, and her master's in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia. In 2004, Kelli returned to Maine, and began her career with Northern Light Health at Eastern Maine Medical Center as the Clinical Educator of the Cardiac Cath Lab. In 2011, Kelli joined the Northern Light Health Information Systems team as a Lead Education Specialist, and then the newly formed Clinical Informatics team in 2014. There, she served as a Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist before stepping into the role of Operations Manager until her passing. Many of her deepest friendships were formed while at Northern Light Health, and these friendships served as a lifeline for the family during Kelli's final days.

In 2010, Kelli met the love of her life and the man she would marry, Joshua Magoon. Josh introduced Kelli to a new world full of hunting, farming, mud, and rural living. Kelli loved every experience, and she was incredibly proud of the life they built together in Harmony, Maine. Josh and Kelli celebrated their marriage on September 1, 2012; a day forever engrained in the memory banks of family and friends who were blessed to be part of the special day. On August 26, 2017, Josh and Kelli welcomed their beautiful twin girls, Robin Lois and Lauren LouAnn, to the world. Kelli was so proud of her Goon Girls and was fulfilled from that moment forward. With every song the girls sing, with every performance they have on stage, with every walk through the woods, and with every giggle and smile, Kelli's spirit will live on.

In addition to her loving husband and children, Kelli is survived by her father, Dana Brown of Hampden, and his wife, Irene; her sister and husband, Karen and James Hawkes of Hampden, and their children, Mitchell and Mabel; her brother and wife, Kevin and Kristen Brown of Pittsford, New York, and their children, Aden and Adley; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, LouAnn and Keith Magoon of Harmony; and her sister-in-law and husband, Cassandra and Zach Currier, and their daughter, Ryleigh Byrd of Plymouth. Kelli is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kelli was predeceased by her mother, Lois Brown, who instilled her children with values that will carry forward for generations.

The family honored Kelli's wishes and hosted a birthday celebration in October, understanding the event was intended to replace a traditional memorial service.
