Medway - Karen L. Kronholm, 61, died unexpectedly August 13, 2019, at her residence. She was born May 7, 1958, in Holyoke, MA, a daughter of Walter S. and Yvonne E. (Philbrook) McLaughlin.
She was a private person but was the rock of her family. She had an amazing love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved all animals and enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel. She was very active with foster care and over the years took in more than 60 children. She will be remembered for keeping an immaculate house.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Philip Kronholm; daughter, Casie McLaughlin and her husband, Tobbie; two grandsons, Tyler Pelkey-McLaughlin and Dylan McLaughlin; two great-grandchildren, Gracie Rae Pelkey and Brandon Robert Pelkey-McLaughlin; her sister and best friend, Trish McLaughlin and husband, David London; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Darlene and Orman Kronholm; and half brother, Louis Philbrook and his wife, Madeline. She was predeceased by her parents.
