Norway, Maine - Karen Jackson, 54, of Norway passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Pittsfield, Maine, to Wayne and Jill (Hamilton) Quint on November 17, 1969.

Karen joined the United States Air Force shortly after high school, where she served as a medical imaging technologist, performing X-rays, mammograms, and ultrasounds. After 20 years of service, Karen retired from the Air Force, but continued on as a medical imaging technologist part-time. She married Donald F. Jackson, on June 4, 1994. They had two sons, Matthew and Parker. One of the things that she enjoyed the most was being with her family, and she loved going for rides throughout the countryside, for hours on end, with her husband. She was well loved by those who knew her. She was extremely kind and had a caring soul.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Don; sons, Matthew and Parker; sister, Jennifer and Donnie Dow; nieces, Danielle, Sophie, and Lilly Dow; mother-in-law, Donna Watje; aunt, Janice Burns; and cousins, Lee and Renee Burns, and Clay Burns.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home, 45 Main St., South Paris, Maine. Online condolences may be shared with her family at chandlerfunerals.com.
