Winn, Maine - Justin R. Peters, 25, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at a Bangor hospital. He was born December 7, 1997, in Lincoln, ME.

Justin grew up in Winn, and attended schools in Winn, Lee Academy, and Maine Virtual Academy, and graduating with the class of 2017. Justin was the light in whatever room he was in. He was able to command the attention of all around him, and nothing gave him more satisfaction than bringing a smile or laugh to those around him. He was quick to make friends, and each friend he made held a special and long-lasting place in his heart. Justin took on all of life's challenges with courage and bravery and was able to make the best of any situation. He hosted a You Tube Channel, "Little Peters Words of Wisdom," and any who saw it or knew him could attest to his ability to share his every thought. Justin enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and hunting, especially turkey hunting. Justin will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by those who knew him.

Justin's family held the center of his attention, he is survived by his father, Jarrod Peters and significant other, Cassandra Pickering; his mother, Cristi (Harvey) Peters; two brothers, Devin Peters and Kane O'Brien; and paternal grandparents, Randy Peters and wife, Susan, and Dawn Sickles and husband, John; maternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Harvey; aunts, Jaime Morneau and Elizabeth Peters; and several cousins, extended family members, and friends, too numerous to list. He will also be missed by his two dogs, Tucker and Scout.

Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-8 p.m. Saturday, November 4, at Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, November 5, with the Rev. Mark York officiating. Interment will be at East Winn Cemetery.
