Judith "Judy" Martin Obituary
Greenbush, Maine - Judith "Judy" Martin passed away peacefully on her 83rd birthday, July 31, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, kindness, and beautiful memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew her. She was born July 31, 1943, in Bangor, the daughter of Stanley and Ethel (Murry) Clark.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 64 years, Nelson Martin; their daughters, Lori Azbell and Janell Martin-MacDougall; and her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Judy was the kind of person who could never sit still. She loved being busy and was happiest when she was surrounded by the people she loved. Above all else, Judy loved children. Caring for them brought her endless joy, whether she was babysitting, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, or simply making every child she met feel loved and important. Her love for children was not just something she spoke about. It was something she lived every day.
Judy's husband, Nelson, would like to thank the staff at Westgate Center in Bangor, and Gentiva Hospice, for caring for Judy.
Per Judy's request, services will be private. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
