Judith Lee Adler
New Sweden - Judith Lee Adler, age 56, passed away peacefully November 1, 2019 after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born March 23, 1963 to Robert Lee O'Connell Sr. and Sylvia Annette Marie O'Connell at Fort Eustis in Newport News, Virginia. She was married to Timothy Lee Adler for 31 years and they live in New Sweden with their daughter Emily Lee Adler, whom she loved and of whom she was always so proud.
Judy loved helping people and was rarely ever sitting still, she always had an eye for a kind moment or to be there when someone needed something, be it a helping hand, a bit of her often quirky sense of humor to lighten the mood, a gentle nudge to get someone going in the right direction, but especially baking treats to celebrate others. She was not without faults however. She was Intelligent to a fault, generous to a fault, competitive to a fault, and pragmatic to a fault. Her no nonsense look at life kept her life grounded and helped her always see the best way forward for herself and others. She loved these things more than anything else other than perhaps walking at Pine Point Beach on a sunny summer day.
For many years she touched the lives of co-workers and customers alike. She worked as a supervisor at AMHC, at Pine Health Services as a medical assistant, and as an office manager for Dr. Michaud in Caribou. She worked weekends at Eureka restaurant in Stockholm where she loved the food, the atmosphere and the live music.
Judy is survived by her husband Timothy Lee Adler and daughter Emily Lee Adler of New Sweden; her mother, Sylvia O'Connell; her sister and husband Janet and Daniel Pierce and their children Sam and Madison; her sister Elizabeth O'Connell; sister and wife, Mary O'Connell and Mary Ann Mancini; her sister and husband Jackie and Scott Sawtelle and their son Ben; and brother and wife Robert and Christina O'Connell and their son Declan.

So sorry to Emily & Tim, you guys were her everything, she would always speak lovingly of you both. My heart hurt to learn of her passing. We met at the hospital & turned friends with our daughter in sports. She will be missed terribly & miss chatting about Emily. Thinking of you both & saying a prayer for comfort. Much love xoxo

Tim & Emily, So very sorry to hear the news of your lovely wife and mom passing away. You are in my prayers as you go through this most difficult time. Just know that you are not alone and the Lord is with you holding you up and walking beside you. Call on HIM and you will feel HIS presence. If I can do anything to help, please let me know.

Sorry for your great loss. Judy will surely be missed.
I met Judy from work at Eureka. She became a great friend always wanting to see what crazy socks I had on due to playing on the Roller Derby team which She ended up calling me "sexy socks". She always came in with a birthday treat for a co- worker. Last yr Glen fooled her into letting her believe it was his bday in the Spring and she brought him a treat. He said Thanks and wanted something else for his actual bday when it came around. Not sure if he got it. Everyone in the kitchen laughed, good times. It was really nice to have gotten to see Tim and Judy last week. Rest peacefully my friend .❤🧁

Tim, Emily & family,
Even though we had lost touch in more recent years, Charlene & I both have such fond memories of our younger years when we got together to share good food, a lot of laughs and some really great times! Judy was the embodiment of a life well lived, an exceptional wife, mother, daughter, sister and co-worker. The world is now a lessor place but you'll always live on in the hearts and minds of all of us that knew you. RIP Judy.

Judy's Family: Not enough room here to write everything I am feeling. Judy was a great friend, person. She made you feel good when she wasn't. So many stories. Spitballs at a restaurant with surgeons, and stiff cokes with just her and I. She is the best and will never be forgotten. RIP and Fly High!!

Tim, Emily, & Family --
I am so sorry for your great loss. Judy was such a wonderful person. I am so lucky to have worked with her for several years at Eureka and to have kept in contact with her as a friend. I will never forget that at the end of every shift at Eureka we would sit down and talk about life while sipping on Pina Coladas and Gin & Tonics -- memories that I will always cherish.
I will miss her kind spirit, her sarcastic and witty humor, and of course her amazing baking skills. I found these pictures from catching up with her in the past year and from years ago at Eureka and I wanted to share with you.

My heart and love goes out to you during this difficult time. Please reac
...h out to me if you need anything.
