Bangor, Maine - Joyce E. (Sheridan) Higgins passed on November 26, 2025, at 95. She was born February 26, 1930, to Charles and Sylvia (Stuart) Sheridan.

Born and raised in Newport, Joyce always spoke fondly of hometown memories and her parents, the game warden and midwife. She enjoyed her 30 years in banking, the 65 years of summer parties at camp on Beech Hill Pond, talking to anyone she would meet (so she knew everyone) and found great happiness watching her grandchildren grow up.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband, "Punch," in 2022. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela; son, Michael; grandchildren, Matthew (April), Rachele (Josh), Gregory (Chelsea), Bennett, and Allison (Danny); and great-grandchildren, Alden, Kyleigh, and Brielle.
