Bangor, Maine - Jori-Lynn (King) Briggs, 60, of Bangor, Maine, passed away suddenly in her sleep on February 22, 2025, at her winter residence in Florida. Born in Lincoln, Maine, on September 21, 1964, to Ken and Leta King (Jordan) of Chester, Maine, Jori graduated from Mattanawcook Academy in 1982 and later graduated from Beal College.

In 1985 she married Bob Briggs, the love of her life, with whom she enjoyed a devoted 40-year marriage. In 1989 she welcomed her son, Logan, and three years later in 1992, she gave birth to her daughter, Kelsey-Lynn.

Jori was a devoted wife and a loving, encouraging Mom and Grammie. The matriarch of the family, Jori's wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and anyone who had the opportunity to know her.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 7, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8.
