John is survived by his spouse, Ann O'Brien; son, Michael Shaw; daughter, Alia Shaw; sister, Paula Radka; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Carleton B. Shaw and Margaret E. Shaw; brothers, Carleton, Robert, and Michael; and sisters, Margaret Stevens and Lucille Wilson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint John's Catholic Church in Bangor on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11 a.m.
