My Aunt Joanne was indeed a special women. As a child we moved away from Bangor as a military family; so I never really got to know her until in recent years when I visit Maine.
She has become a very special Aunt as I have I have come to know her. A very strong independent women who had a quick wit, a talent for poetry, and could be coaxed into singing out a show tune...she was very confident and capable of great conversation.
She was a great strength and support to her mother, sisters, and family.
Still driving up to the week she passed. A faithful customer for breakfast at her favorite spot Tom something? I can not recall right now.
She believed and loved the Lord Jesus Christ and trusted
...Him to Save her.
I know she is rejoicing in heaven with her mother and family....And I will see them there one day too.
Aunt Joanne lived a full and vital life, she finished well....she finished her race.
Rest in Peace Aunt Jo Anne and I am thankful to have spent time with you these past years. You are a treasure.
I will miss you when I come back up to Maine

I've known Joanne all my life. She was great friends back in the day with my mother and father, Corinne and Burns Archers. As a boy, I used to go fishing with her husband, Bob in Great Pond. Wonderful memories of days long gone.
