Yarmouth, Maine - Joan A. Taylor, 77, died peacefully December 16, 2018, in Yarmouth, Maine. She was born in Bucksport, Maine, July 6, 1941, to Harold and Lena (Eastman) Clark.
She was employed at the Jed Prouty Tavern in Bucksport as a front desk bookkeeper, a cook in the Bucksport School System, Pownal School System, the Elan School and at the Coastal Manor in Yarmouth prior to her retirement in 2003. Her father, Harold Clark predeceased her in May of 1976, and her mother predeceased her in April of 2003.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Harris and her husband, David, of Freeport; two grandchildren, Ryan Bickford and his wife, MandaLynn, of Livermore, and Kimberly Bickford of Gray; two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Hadley Corcoran of Gray; an aunt Mary Foss of Freeport and several cousins. The family is deeply appreciative of Coastal Manor in Yarmouth and their staff for their exceptional and compassionate care.
