Jimmy R. Cyr
Jimmy served in the US Air Force from 1975 to 1978. He worked for the US Postal service for 35 years. Jimmy will be remembered as an avid outdoors man and especially enjoyed fireworks but most of all his pit bull, "Bandit". He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma (Kennedy) Cyr of Fort Kent; stepchildren, Lisa Kennedy and Josh Shaw, Melissa Tilley and Travis Tilley, Tom Kennedy and his wife, Sara; grandchildren, Joshua, Kailey and Jayden Shaw, Devin, Keegan, and Skylynn Tilley, Emily and Jasmine Kennedy; one brother, Jean N. Cyr and his wife, Della Cyr of Bangor; one sister, Ginette L. Rogers of Anchorage, Alaska; nieces and nephews, Shawn and wife, Elaine Cyr, Mathew and his wife, Judi Cyr, Mike and his wife, Heather Rogers; great-nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Alexandria, Natalie, Jaiden, Noah and Landon.
Jimmy was predeceased by both his parents.
A Mass of Christian burial with full military honors will be celebrated 11 am Friday, June 9, 2017, at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent.
