SEARSPORT - SEARSPORT - Jimmy Allen Bowen, 42, died unexpectedly Monday, May 4, 2009. He was born July 29, 1966, in Belfast, the son of Russell L. and Annie L. (Moody) Bowen. Jimmy was educated in Frankfort and Searsport schools. Jimmy loved family and friends; he enjoyed playing baseball, soccer and games with his children. He also enjoyed doing things like lawn care, cleaning, cooking, and working on lawn mowers. He cherished his time helping out at Cub Scouts with his son. Jimmy always looked forward to the annual July Fourth Bed Races. Jimmy is survived by and will be sadly missed by his fianc?e, Raylene Connor; his children, Crystal Connor, Katrinia Connor, Eric Bowen, Sheryl Bowen, all of Searsport, Antoinette "Annie" Holeton of North Dakota, Richard Seekins and girlfriend, Amanda Bowden, of Frankfort, and Kevin Seekins and girlfriend, Amanda Stinson, of Monroe and Frankfort; one grandson, R.J.; and stepfather, Fred Mudgett. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Joyce Seekins and husband, Larry F., of Frankfort, Allen Moody and wife, Andrea, Sherry Dunbar and husband, Darren, all of Searsport, Donald Bowen of Belfast, Chris Moody, Tammy Seekins-Hall and husband, Brian, all of Frankfort; a special great-niece, Karyn; and great-nephew, Eddie; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many close friends he would visit and have coffee with. All of whom will miss him very much; his laughter, smile, jokes, just him being "Little Dinky Bowen." He was predeceased by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents and one sister. Family and friends will gather for visitation 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Searsport, with Pastor Steve Nute officiating.
