Milford, Maine - Jessie passed away on March 26, 2026. She was born in Bangor on July 4, 1966, the youngest of eight children, the daughter of James and Regina Ellis Hamm.

She graduated from Old Town High School.

Jessie is survived by her loving husband, Leo Michaud of Milford; son, Andrew of Brewer; brother, James and Debra Hamm of Alton; and sisters, Patty Palmer of Alton, Paulette and Ron Borja of Alton, Eileen and Dave Carver of Bradford, and Eva and Fred McLaughlin of Alton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Ray Hamm and Judy Comeau.

Jessie loved her flower gardens and watching the birds at her feeders. She was a kind and generous soul, who loved her family deeply. She loved working with and taking care of children, and was a talented artist with her crafts. Jessie was a natural caregiver and fierce protector who always put the needs of others ahead of her own.

There will be a celebration of Jessie's life at Alton United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m.
