Jeanie Coose Obituary

STOCKTON SPRINGS - STOCKTON SPRINGS - Jeanie Coose passed away Nov. 26, 2008, at her home. She was born Aug. 12, 1934, in Searsport, the daughter of Earle and Marion (Dobbins) Webster. Jeanie attended school in Stockton Springs and was a member of Searsport Full Gospel Church for many years. She was an avid Red Sox fan and looked forward to watching the games with her family. Like her father, Jeanie was a dedicated worker and a very talented artist. Her favorite things to paint were lighthouses and ocean scenes. She also was very involved in ceramic classes and loved to give her creations as gifts to her friends and family. Jeanie also applied her artistic talents to her home and gardens and loved being and working outside at every opportunity. Jeanie was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Edith Ginn; and brother, Elmer Webster. Jeanie is survived by her husband, Eldred Coose of Stockton Springs; her children, Penny Robbins of North Searsport, Edward "Lucky" Hodgdon Jr. and wife, Darlene, of Stockton Springs, Regina Parker and husband, Andrew, of South Berwick, Terrence Hodgdon and wife, Chandra, of Stockton Springs and Rhonda Macleod of Stockton Springs; along with her stepchildren, Vincent Coose and wife, Theresa, of Prospect and Patricia Clement and husband, Brian, of Sorrento. In addition to her children, she is survived by her grandchildren, Alicia Birmingham, Whitney Hodgdon, Thadeous Macleod, Heidi Hodgdon, Chelsea Macleod and Sierra Hodgdon; and stepgrandchildren, Alan Grant, Jennifer Grant and Daniel Coose. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Brady and Sidney Birmingham, True Noyes and Brittany and Orianna Anderson. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Searsport Full Gospel Church with Pastor Cliff Gall officiating. Interment will be at Mount Prospect Cemetery, Stockton Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Waldo County Home Health and Hospice, P.O. Box 407, Belfast, ME 04915. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport.
