Jason David Bishop
Clifton - Jason David Bishop, 51, of Clifton, Maine, passed away on January 29, 2020, from a long and debilitating illness. He was the son of Harry and Margaret Stanley Bishop of Bar Harbor, Maine. Jason attended Ellsworth High School and graduated from Beal College in Bangor in 2000.
Jason loved reading, writing poetry, and music, as well as basketball and ice skating.
Jason was especially proud of his daughters, Katie Allison Bishop Chase, wife of Mathew Chase of Old Town, and Ashley Lynn Bishop of Glenburn.
Jason was predeceased by his father, Harry Bishop, in 2004; and his sister, Robin B. Thompson, in 2015. He is survived by his mother, Margaret; and sister, Carrie Bishop, both of Bar Harbor; a very dear friend, Andrew Bien, as well as extended family members, all of whom loved him and will miss him dearly.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at Ledgelawn Cemetery in Bar Harbor.

Jay was an awesome guy, We have known each other for a long time now and didn't realize, Then one day we were like hey I no you, So we been friend/family for many years.I even became his PSS worker, n really love him. Sorry he gone but at least now he happy n heathly now with the Angels

Jason was my childhood friend. We grew up together. We shared a lot of memories. And later we connected on Facebook. I became good friends after that. We had many great discussions. But I am so sorry that he's gone. He was such a good person. That I care for him. Very much rest in peace Jason.
