Bangor - James "Jim" T. Bair, 84, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Bangor on June 9, 2019. He was born on October 13, 1934 in Rossiter, PA, the son of Luther and Alice (Brady) Bair.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service. He went on to own and operate Bair's Driving School starting in 1973. Jim was also a member of the Maine State Ten Pin Bowling Association Hall of Fame.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Brenda of St. Petersburg, FL; son, James Bair II of Bangor; and his grandchildren, William James and Candace.
A gathering of friends to celebrate Jim's life will be announced at a later date. Condolences to the family may be expressed at Memorial-Alternatives.com

Mr. Bair was a sweetheart. When I was a senior in high school I was his secretary for a short while. He used to call me after and ask where I filed this or that ! He even chauffeured my husband and I on our Wedding Day 10 years ago, with his limmo. I have many fond memories of Mr. Bair. So sorry for the families loss.

Jim was a very kind and generous man I cleaned his home for many years and developed a friendship with him. He always wanted to know how I was doing.After my husband passed away 2 years ago, he always wanted to know if he could help in any way.
