Dover-Foxcroft, Maine - Ivan Lloyd Wallace, 90, of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, passed away on April 28, 2026. He went home to be with the Lord at Bangor Hospital with his daughter, Cindy Rowe, and Pastor Scott by his side. Ivan was born on March 21, 1936, in Sangerville, Maine, to Eva Wallace.

He spent more than 50 years as a dedicated car salesman, a profession he truly loved. Throughout the years, he worked at Rowell's, Prouty Ford, and Prays Auto Sales, continuing even after retirement. He had a lifelong passion for cars - not just selling them, but buying, trading, and repairing them. Ivan was known as a quiet and friendly man who loved his family deeply. He enjoyed meeting new people, was always ready to lend a helping hand, and had a playful sense of humor. He had a natural way of connecting with others and making them feel at ease.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Rowe and her husband, Edward; his stepchildren, Robert Hogan and his wife, Sheri, Scott Hogan and his wife, Stephanie, Paula Schneider and her husband, Charlie, and Teri Oberg and her husband, Brant. He is also survived by his grandchildren, S. Gary Robinson and Brocke Robinson and his wife, Kim; and his stepgrandchildren, Adam Hughes, Shannon Hughes, Angie Huggard, Ben Hogan, Brian Hogan, Rebecca Hogan, Taylor Schneider, Kelsey Schneider, Paxton Wilbanks, and Logan Oberg. Ivan leaves behind 17 great-grandchildren; and two very special great-great-grandchildren, Mauri and Nico. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Patricia (Cota) Wallace; his mother, Eva Wallace; and his grandfather, Henry Wallace.

A celebration of Ivan's life will be held at Hermon Baptist Church on May 9. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. followed by a service at 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor Scott Taylor. Fellowship will follow.

Ivan's life was marked by his kindness, his love for family, and his steady presence in the lives of those who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
