I have many memories of Hildred and being in her and Ben’s home sharing time with Carolyn there when we were in high school and a few years after. She was always busy as ever, the perpetual ‘ever ready bunny’! Hildred was always interested in what I was doing and where I was living and whenever I visited she offered chocolate chip cookies or lunch. At 93 years old I saw her out in the blueberry field last summer raking blueberries to clean them up around the rocks! She never ceased to amaze me with her energy. R.I.P. now Hildred with your dear Ben Franklin and family who have gone before you. You will be remembered well and greatly missed by so many❣️ My deepest condolences and lo...ve to Carolyn, Carol Jean and Bernard and families❤️Read more

Carol, and family,

I am extremely sorry for your loss. Grammie Hildreth was a wonderful, sweet, loving lady that will be dearly missed by all. I am extremely honored to have met her, and enjoyed many conversations with her. I will treasure those memories, and will miss her cookies. Again, I am extremely sorry for your loss, with lots of love.

Thinking of you all and remembering a lady whom we admired for her work ethic (knowing we couldn't keep up with her).

There will never be another Hildred, she never wanted to miss raking blueberries with Bernard! She was constant motion. She will be missed around Waltham.

I am honored to know Grammy and her unmatched energy and enthusiasm. She is great baker, and someone who always made you feel welcome right away. She ran circles around people half her age, and met you with a warm hug, an infectious laugh, and plenty to eat. She is leaving a hole here on earth, but Heaven has gotten their angel back. Thinking of all the Jordans today, but especially Carolyn, Ben, and Matt who brought her into our lives.
