Henricus G. A. Bergmans

September 16, 1926 - February 12, 2019

Eddington - Henricus G.A. Bergmans 92 died on February 12, 2019 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Venlo, the Netherlands. He was the 10th of 12 children born to,the late Johanna ( Aerts) and Hendrikus H. C Bergmans. He emigrated to the United States in 1953 and later became a United States citizen. He was very proud to be an American.
He leaves his wife Lois and his children, Johanna (David) Musselman of Boston, Massachusetts and his son Henricus "Hank" ( Maggie) Bergmans,Jr of Elgin , South Carolina. He is also survived by his granddaughter (Eric) Hart and his great granddaughter Avery.
He also leaves three sisters in the Netherlands, Nellie Barendse, Johanna (Frans) Van Rest and Wilhelmina ( Giovanni) Mangianello and many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. A donation to Smile Train an agency who provides cleft lip and palate repair to under priveleged children, may be done in his name. The address is Smile Train, 633 Third Avenue, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10017
