Lee - "When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the Rock that is higher than I. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep [our] hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Ps. 61:21; Phil. 4:7

With extremely deep hurting hearts, we lost our very sweet Heidi Beth Bickford McGovern on Thurs. Oct. 4, 2018. Born Dec. 15, 1991 to Mitch and Brenda Bickford, Heidi chose to enter Heaven's gates before she had finished serving her beloved Lord with her many gifts, talents, and beautiful touches. Heidi had so much in store here on earth, yet, she made this decision and God lovingly extended His hand, welcoming her and her precious unborn baby to His eternal Heavenly home. Today and forevermore she lives on in Heaven, finally finding the peace she had so longed, struggled, and searched for. Her place in Heaven was not achieved by being a loving, devoted wife to an amazing husband, Daniel, nor by being a loving, dedicated mommy to Enoch and Ethan, nor by being a very special, caring friend to many, nor for any other reason than that she, as a young child, believed she was a sinner, deserving Hell, accepted God's gift of Salvation through Christ's death and resurrection.
Just a few short weeks ago, Heidi wrote a thought-provoking letter to a special individual, having become deeply concerned for this person's eternal destiny. In answering the question on how to care for our souls, Heidi's words were as follows: "Jesus said our souls are very important. The truth is, because of our sin we are lost and will be condemned by God to Hell eternally, unless we repent and put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. I care about you." If Heidi could speak today, now that she has seen her Savior face to face, she would present these truths to anyone who crossed her path.
In addition to her amazing husband, Daniel, and beautiful boys, Enoch and Ethan, she has left behind hundreds of grieving loved ones and friends, including her mom and dad, Mitch and Brenda, who loved her most dearly; sister, Hilde Kelly and husband, Grant, of Lewiston; sister, Haley Sinz and husband, Barak; sister, Holli, and brother, Heath of Lee; very dear aunts and uncles, Paul and Hazel Anderson, Lewiston, Rhonda Colburn, Randolph, John and Holli Ashley, Lake Ariel, PA, Rusty and Joy, Newport; extremely special cousins, Jade, Kara, Lauren, Macy, Ruth-Ann, Heath, Chad, and Tim; very special mom-in-law and dad in-law, Terry and Mariann McGovern, siblings-in-law, Heather and Jordan Philbrick, Rachel and Josiah Jordan, Bethany and Levi.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to GoFundMe McGovern Family, or a college fund for Enoch and Ethan at https://go.fidelty.com/52r7l
Her violin and mandolin lay silent, as well as her sweet soprano voice, but those of us who know the Lord as our Saviour, being born again, will meet her in Glory someday, where we will never have to say "Good-bye" again.

We greet and part with dear ones;
We say hello, good-bye;
And letters bind our fellowship;
We miss them, though we try
To feel them always near us,
And follow them with prayer.
But parting days are ended
When we meet them in the air.

We'll never say good-bye in glory,
In the morning, over yonder;
We'll never say good-bye in glory;
We'll never say good-bye up there.
