Eddington, Maine - Hazel Marie Ward passed away on April 8, 2026. She was born Sept. 8, 1961.

She was a crossing guard for many years for the Bangor School Dept. She truly loved and took her job very serious and went the extra step to make sure "her kids" crossed the street safely. She loved playing cards and spending time with her family. Her other passion was jewelry, especially rings, which she proudly wore one on each finger. She was a very loving and caring person. She was and is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by both her parents; and her husband, Adam Dale Ward. She is survived by her son, Bert Fairbrother; five sisters; one brother; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews.
