Dover-Foxcroft, Maine - Harriet Salley Moen, 99, passed away peacefully November 1, 2025, at her home. She was born August 30, 1926, in Atkinson, the sixth of eight children to Harry and lla (Merrill) Salley.

Mom had a keen memory and enjoyed sharing memories with anyone who listened. A strong devout catholic, her faith guided her through life after our dad passed away. Much loved by all who knew her, she will be greatly missed.

Harriet was predeceased by her parents; her beloved husband, Charles Moen; six siblings, Phyllis (Vernon) Brackett, Amasa Salley, Margaret (Forest) Sheldon, Laura (Edward) Tyler, James (Mary) Salley, and John (Elaine) Salley; and her companion, Jack Bubre and his son, Kirk. She is survived by her two children, Don and Christine Moen, and Lynn and Joe Kittridge; grandchildren, Jason Moen (Cody and Ben), Jessica Harrington, and Jaime and Lucas Hare (Sarah and Andrew); sister, Lois Farr; Jack's family that she loved so much, Rich and Cheryl, Colleen and Roger, Danny and Teresa, Cindy and Jeff, Tom and Leslie, Paul and Annette, and Patty Gomez and their families; and many nieces and nephews.

Per her request there will only be graveside services. You told me no long, drawn out obituary, so I did my best. You were truly loved by all who knew you. Fly high, Mom, and dance in heaven with Dad.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at Rural Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at laryfuneralhome.com.
