Carmel, Maine - On June 15, 2025, Hannah Mildred Malcolm-Clukey of Carmel lost her battle with cancer, and leukemia at 11:08 a.m. surrounded by loved ones, at Northern Light EMMC. She was born to Mitchell and Edna Malcolm-Connor in Hartford, Connecticut, on May 18, 1957.
Hannah was a 1975 graduate of Central High School East Corinth, Maine. For many long years she worked as a baker until her retirement in 2021 from Franks Bakery, with whom she was employed with for 15 years. Hannah was married to A.J. Clukey Jr. from May 20, 1995, until his passing on September 9, 2022.
Hannah is survived by her children, John Pinkham, 49, of Bangor, Ryan Pinkham, 47, and his wife, Ronnie Pinkham, of Bangor, and Dale Berrier, 42, of Carmel; grandchildren, John's children, Jayda, Ian, McKenzie, and Kaylen; Ryan's children, Ashleigh, Sharla, and JJ; her adoptive granddaughter, Heather; and Dale's children, Hannah Mae and Mitchell. She is also survived by sisters, Judy Coleman and Janet Malcolm-Ely; many nieces and nephews; and many close friends, and fellow parishioners. She was predeceased by her siblings, Dorean Embleton, Dora Ellwell, and Fred Smith.
The service will be held at The Bread of Life Church, where AJ and Hannah were board members, 363 Lindsey Rd., Newburgh, Maine, July 5 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception and graveside service. Donations may be made in memory of Hannah Clukey to the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute in Brewer, Maine, in lieu of flowers.
