Madawaska, Maine - Grace Levesque, 91, passed away on January 22, 2025, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, on February 13, 1933, daughter of the late Joseph and Amanda (Morneault) Lajoie.
Grace was a beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to selflessly care for family, who loved and cherished her deeply. Grace will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Grace is survived by two children, Nelson Levesque of Madawaska and Brenda Daigle and her husband, Glenn, of California; four grandchildren, Corey Levesque, Paige Levesque, Travis Daigle, and Jayde Daigle-Welcome; one sister, Sr. Rachel Lajoie of Ontario; and one brother, Robert Lajoie and his companion, Marie-Paule, of St. Jacques, NB. She was predeceased by her husband, Conrad Levesque in 2020; and one son, Michael Levesque who passed away in 2010.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on July 25, 2025, at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home. For online condolences, please visit lajoiefuneralhome.com.
