Pittsfield, Maine - Gloria F. Cote, 91, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 9, 2023, in Bangor.

Gloria was born on July 17, 1931, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Delisle) Cote. She married the love of her life, Robert R. Cote, on October 3, 1953, and they shared 52 years together. She had been employed by C.M Almy for many years and was a faithful communicant of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Gloria was a kind, giving woman. She was an amazing quilter and was lovingly known for making and giving her beautiful quilts. She was friendly, outgoing, and always kept herself busy. She had many fond memories of traveling with her daughters.

She is survived by her children: Michael Cote and wife, Jan, of Canterbury, NH, Adele Scott and husband, Kenneth, of Orleans, MA, William Cote and wife, Linda, of Loudon, NH, Thomas Cote and wife, Brenda, of Pittsfield, Annette Anderson and husband, Paul, of Falmouth, ME, and Andrea Cote and husband, John Connolly, of Pittsfield; 10 grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; siblings: Dr. Roger Cote and wife, Marietta, of Sherbrooke, Canada, and Robert E. Cote of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Brenda Cookson, Judy Gower, and Rena Hodgkins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Cote; sister, Rita Bolduc; and brother, Marcel Cote.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Detroit Street, Pittsfield. A committal will follow at the Village Cemetery, Peltoma Ave., Pittsfield. Following the committal, a luncheon will be held in the Parish Hall and if Gloria had made you a quilt, please bring it to display and share for all to see.
