He graduated from Milton High School in 1956 and Bentley College in 1968. He became a Controller for Litton Itek for many years and after moving to Maine, he continued to subcontract for Litton as well as working at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft in Finance.

Fred's exuberant, warm and kindhearted personality will be remembered by all in both Massachusetts and Maine.

Fred loved to support and share his love of local music, theater and good local food and wine. He helped many of his neighbors and friends and made many steadfast, lifelong friends during his time in both Massachusetts and Maine and he will be sorely missed. To quote his high school yearbook "Humor is the harmony of the heart." He went through this life with a smile on his lips and a twinkle in his eye.
