Waterville - WATERVILLE - Frances L. King, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Park Residence in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, Jan. 1, 1931 the daughter of Joseph A. and Lena P. (Proveau) King.

Fran grew up in Waterville and graduated from Waterville High School, Class of 1949. She lived many years in Elmhurst, Illinois and worked over 25 years for Motorola in Schaumburg, Illinois. Fran moved back to Brewer in 2003.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by 2 brothers and 5 sisters, Donald J. King, Henry A. King, Florence K. Lamson, Doris K. Perkins, Eva K. Bridges, Irene K. Parsons and Marie K. Webb. Surviving are a sister, Evelyn K. Haywood of Brewer, special nephew and wife, Charles and Paulette Bridges of Oakland, several other nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday June 13 at St. Francis Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville. A celebration of her life will follow the service at the home of Mike and Jennifer Proctor, 271 Fairfield St., Oakland.
