Hudson, MA, Massachusetts - Floyd Walter Burton III, lovingly known as "Punky," "Uncle Floppy," and "Little Floyd" passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 6:04 p.m. Floyd was born on March 28, 1978, in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.

He is survived by his parents, Floyd Burton Jr. and Linda Tompkins; as well as his stepparents, Cindy and George Estabrook. Floyd leaves behind his beloved sisters, Rebecca and her husband, Nick Oakes, of Augusta, ME, Rae Jean and her husband, John Rossignol, of Woodland, ME, Mary and her wife, Tina Burton, of Solon, ME, and Kilie and her husband, Sheldon Styers, of Wilmington, NC. He is also fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom he adored. Floyd shared more than 21 years with his significant other and best friend, Jodi Hodge, who lovingly stood by his side through life's ups and downs.

Proudly serving his country, Floyd was a veteran of the United States Navy. He also dedicated 20 years of his career to AECOM, where his strong work ethic and sense of humor left a lasting impression on his coworkers and friends. Floyd will be remembered for his quick wit, his big heart, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
