Evelyn, my step-mom. Evelyn came into my life when I needed a mom the most. I was 16, had just lost my own mom to cancer. Some would resent another "mother figure" coming into their life so shortly after their own mom had died, but I really needed that guidance of a mom. Evelyn taught me how to be strong and independent. She taught me the values of a hard working women. She taught me photography and painting, and how to be the best mom I could be. I've always told people that she was the best step-mom that anyone could have. I am so thankful that she was always there for me. I couldn't have asked for a better mom. Thank you Julie and Sally for sharing your mother with me. I truly loved her... with all my heart. She will be missed. Kelly, Carl, Jason and AlisonRead more
