Bar Harbor, Maine - Erik "The Red" Howard passed away from cancer at 51 years old on July 2, 2026. Erik was able to bring light and laughter to any situation, even this one, and the stories of his many life's adventures will live on in his family and friends. Erik died comfortably at home in Bar Harbor with his partner of 25 years, Laure Case, and his sister, Crystal Howard, by his side. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
