Erik was a friend of Michael and me for well over 40 years. We were at each other’s weddings and never missed Christmas gifts or birthday cards. I am heartbroken. I hope that someone can let us know about a memorial service.

I just found out and can’t believe that he is gone. I just connected with him a few years ago and we kept in touch through email and got together a few times when I visited DC or when he came up to Green Lake. Thought that we would have more time to get to know each other better when he offered me his advise on restoring a 1965 Mustang that I have. He and I also spoke often about his father “Capt. Earl O. Ruhlin” who is still MIA in Korea. I will miss him!

Gail, I am so sorry to hear of Erik's passing. I have good memories of him when we were kids back in the 50's in an America of a much different time. May he rest in peace.
