It was Ellen and Dale's friendly attitude that resulted in my family joining Essex Street Baptist Church and at times they hosted the International Gourmet Society in their home. I will miss her love and concern for me going out to becoming a pastor and becoming ordained.
I know she enjoyed her hug from her Savior, Jesus Christ!

Dale and family,
So sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. She was a sweet lady with a great laugh. Buzz always hard a good time working with her at the S&S in Hampden years ago. We are praying for all of you.

Grandpa,

I am so sorry that I wasn’t able to come see Grammie before she passed. I miss you both very much and am thankful Grammie isn’t in pain anymore and I know she’s been fully restored to her extremely happy, loving, active self. We will all see each other one day. I love you Grammie and you are so terribly missed by everyone.

Dear Uncle Dale and cousins,
It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the loss of Aunt Ellen. She always had a welcome smile and hug for us whenever we met. We know full well that she now rests peacefully in the arms of the Lord and is filled with peace and free of pain. God bless and comfort you during this time of mourning as you remember the wonderful life and times you (and we) have shared together. Love from her nephew Billy Willy (as she used to call me) and his wife Annie.

Dale and all of Ellen's family.
I am so sorry to read this sad news. My heart and thoughts go out
to all of you. She always had a smile for everyone and so kind and
benevolent. Although we will all miss her, we know she is in a pain
free place now. Again my condolences.
