Dixmont, Maine - Elizabeth Thurlow, called Betty Ann by her family and friends, passed peacefully at home due to pancreatic cancer on March 28, 2026.

Betty Ann is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bill; as well as eight of their children and their families; her brother, Eddie, and sister, Gina, and their families; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Anna Thurlow; brother, Billy; and her parents, Edward and Lorraine Kriete.

A Traditional Roman Catholic Requiem Mass in Latin will be held at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 35 Church St., Oakland, ME on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11 a.m. with a reception to immediately follow. All are welcome. A spring burial will occur in Dixmont in the spring.
