Biddeford, Maine - Elizabeth T. (Fitzpatrick) Gerding, 87, of Biddeford and formerly Newcastle, died on June 16, 2025, after filling the world with love, laughter and exuberance. Elizabeth "Betty" valued family above all, and was cherished by many friends, neighbors and casual acquaintances alike.

A wake will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk, ME. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, at St. Martha's Catholic Church, 30 Portland Rd., Kennebunk, ME. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham, MA.
