EILEEN was the mom of my very close friend Steve Cox.
Steve and I grew up together in Bangor. I spent many hours at Eileen's home in Bangor. Steve and I, along with our close friends Paul O'Brien and Pete Day were always getting into trouble and caused EILEEN no shortage of grief.
She was a wonderful lady and endured the grief with a laugh and a smile.
I last saw her a few years ago when the old gang had dinner with her in Brewer in November during out annual hunting trip. She was sharp as a tack and vividly recalled all the grief we had caused her.
May she rest in peace. GOD BLESS HER.
