Edward Allen Brueggeman

Bangor - Edward Allen Brueggeman
Passed away peacefully on Jan 23, 2019

Ed attended schools in the St. Louis area and proudly served 10 years in the United States Air Force and the United States Army Reserve. He worked as a press maintainer at Missouri based Continental Can Company for 37 years, before retiring in 1987, when he and wife Lorraine, relocated to Maine.
He had a fantastic sense of humor that was present, even while he battled many health issues. A quiet man, with an inner strength and a strong faith in God, Ed enjoyed spending time with family, whether on a camping trip or playing host to many memorable neighborhood barb-e-ques. He was an avid reader, loved to cook, play golf, garden and looked forward to wintering in Vero Beach Florida for many years.

We will hold you in our heart and will try to live each day as you would want us to - "Good, better, best; never let it rest . . . until good is better and better is best."

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lorraine.
His daughters, Michelle Kessler of Bangor; Daria Brueggeman of Manchester, Missouri; and Dana Brueggeman Rodenhofer of Manchester, Missouri.
Grandchildren, Dellana Kessler, Lauren Oestricker and her husband, Rich, Olivia Zeiter, Michael Sample, Megan Sample, and several great-grandchildren

There will be no funeral service at the request of the deceased. The family will hold a Memorial service in the Spring.
