Orono, Maine - In loving memory of our mother, Dorothy Mary Soucie, who passed away on April 11, 2025. She was born in Orono, Maine, on July 17, 1931.

She was the devoted wife of the late SGM Earl Soucie and loving mother of Caryl Willette of Old Town, Maine, Frederick Soucie of Montgomery, Texas, the late Pamela Pinkham of Bangor, Maine, and Jennifer Hamilton of South Portland, Maine. She will be deeply missed by all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She instilled in us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. She was a true role model who we always looked up to. She was a strong woman of faith who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Holy Family Church, 429 Main St., Old Town. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Bennoch Road, Orono, followed by fellowship and a light luncheon in the Parish Hall at Holy Family Church.
