Brewer, Maine - Donna E. Hayden, 81, wife of David F. Hayden, passed June 4, 2026, at her home in Brewer surrounded by her family after many years battling Parkinson's disease. She was born April 2, 1945, in Bangor, the daughter of Thomas and Madeline (Hartford) Wood.

Donna was a 1963 graduate of Bangor High School.

She was the loving wife to her husband, David, whom she married Aug. 2, 1976; and was the devoted mother of two children, Kim Stewart and her husband, Dave, and Brent Parker; one grandson, Gary Gallagher and his wife, Raeann; two brothers, Thomas E. Wood and his wife, Dorothy and Charles E. Wood and his wife, Jackie; and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her lifelong best friend, Sharon (Bowden) Roubo and her husband, Vic.
