Portland and Fort Kent - Diane M. (Voisine) Paradis, 64, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister passed away suddenly August 14, 2017 at Maine Medical Center, Portland.
Diane was born November 9, 1952 in Fort Kent to Ernest Sr. and Sylvia (Toussaint) Voisine. She married Richard, July 22, 1971 and had two sons, and dedicated her life to taking care of her family.
Diane's passion was spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, praying and reading her bible, listening to music, laughing and doing for others. She was a selfless, loving, and compassionate lady who will be missed greatly by her family and anyone who knew her.
She leaves behind her husband Richard, son; Jason, his wife Kim (Doustou) Voisine and their children: Desirae, Kyle and Kole of Fort Kent; granddaughters, Kelsey Paradis, her fiancé, Ross Sr. and great-grandsons, Ross Jr. and another on the way of Portage, Ramsey Paradis, her significant other Ben of Fort Fairfield, Kylie Paradis, her significant other, Jed of Presque Isle, Selena Bouchard and Nathan Paradis of Hermon; one sister; Norma Jean Charette, (Walden) of Wallagrass; seven brothers: Raymond Voisine (Linda) of Biddeford, James Voisine (Joyce) of Winterville, Ernest Voisine Jr. (Claire) of Bristol, CT, Normand Voisine (MaryAnne) of Soldier Pond, David Voisine (Paula), Dana (Terry), and Dale all of Florida, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much and will miss her dearly.
Diane was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Nancy Duhaime and Lisa Voisine, brother; Gerald Voisine, nephew: Mark Voisine, and eldest son, Keith.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 12 noon, August 19, 2017 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Soldier Pond. Arrangements are in the care of Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
