He graduated from colleges in New Jersey and Delaware and was employed as a director of training at the DuPont Chemical Company in Wilmington, Del. Dave was a member of the Corinna United Methodist Church, the Gideons International, the Corinna Post American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an avid clock collector and was known for repairing antique clocks for over 50 years. Dave was a longtime member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Corinna; and their blended family includes six daughters, Diana Wells of Wilmington, DE, Terri and husband, Charles Cobb, Kimberly and husband, Gary Lockwood, all of Pennsville, NJ, Lorise and husband, Wayne Homsher of Springdale, AR, Andrea and husband, Ray Eckart of Lancaster, PA, Janette and husband, David Sickles of Corinna; two brothers, Lawrence and wife, Jackie Brayall of Dover-Foxcroft, and Danny Brayall of Nashville, TN; five sisters, Daveene Myers of Waterford, Ellen Stacey of Falmouth, Karlenne Page of Corinna, Jo Ann Powers of Morristown Heights, AZ, Glenna and husband, Larry Burton of Dexter; ten grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Marylin Poland and Marion Sinclair.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday, October 11, at the Corinna United Methodist Church, 16 Dexter Road, Corinna, with the Rev. Michele St. Cyr and Pastor Reeni Cipullo officiating. Interment will be in the Nutter Cemetery, Corinna. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Corinna. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Corinna United Methodist Church, P. O.
