Millinocket, Maine - David Joseph LaLiberte, 71, passed away on May 20, 2026, in Millinocket, ME. He was born September 11, 1954, in St Augustine, FL, to Donald and Rosemary (Mastacusa) LaLiberte.

David grew up in Bridgeport, CT. He was in the Air Force and stationed at Loring Air Force Base for four years. David was a DJ. He loved music and could play just about any instrument handed him. He was a magician in Las Vegas for awhile. David was a dynamic personality and lived life to its fullest.

His biggest achievement in life was becoming pastor at Your Family Worship Center of Millinocket, ME, for the past 24 years. He loved his church family and was beloved by them. He will be missed by the many locals who knew him.

David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Lou (Good) LaLiberte; his six children, Shawna (Jesse) Maynard, Wayne (Brandi) LaLiberte, Kandy Barker, Jennifer (Larry) Stanford, Ian Mills and partner, Ashley Rand, and Jessica (Jon) Marquis; he had so many grandchildren that he started numbering them instead of trying to remember their names; three and a half great-grandchildren; his mother, Rosemary LaLiberte; four siblings, Donald (Jack) LaLiberte, Linda England, Judy (Dan) New, and Debbie LaLiberte; and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his father; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Claudine Good; sister-in-law, Velda Everett; brother-in-law, Norman England; and sister-in-law, Thereca LaLiberte.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, May 30, at 2:30 p.m. at Your Family Worship Center, 100 Aroostook Ave., Millinocket, ME. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes support towards unexpected expenses. Donations may be sent to Mary LaLiberte, 100 Aroostook Ave., Millinocket, ME, 04462.
