East Boothbay, Maine - Cynthia "Cindy" Laureen Lockwood of East Boothbay, Maine, passed away on July 2, 2022, in Boothbay Harbor following a lengthy illness. Cindy was born March 24, 1946, in Worcester, Massachusetts to Hollis and Wilma Jacobs. Cindy taught special education for more than 25 years and in retirement enjoyed many adventures with her adoring husband, Douglas.
In addition to her husband, Cindy is also survived by her brother, Marvin Jacobs; daughter, Wendy Clark and husband, Leighton; son, Jon Gulliver and wife, Cindy; stepdaughters, Sarah Lockwood and Samaine Lockwood and husband, Demian Wincele; and grandchildren, Ashley and Ben Clark, Erikka Murley, and Leo and Ezra Wincele. Cindy will be missed by her many friends and family that loved and cherished her.
The family will have a celebration of life on August 6, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maine Parkinson's Society, 146 Parkway S. Suite 210, Brewer, ME 04412.
