Wallagrass, Maine - Connie Belanger, 87, peacefully entered into Eternal Life on March 11, 2026, at a Frenchville healthcare facility. She was born February 24, 1939, in Wallagrass, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Bertha (Ouellette) Pinette.

Connie was a devoted wife and mother and took great pride in providing a wonderful home for her husband and children. She enjoyed cooking and no one left her kitchen with an empty stomach. She was exceptionally proud to earn the title "Memere" as her family expanded to include her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her impact will forever be felt in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Claude Belanger of Frenchville; five children, Rodney Belanger and his wife, Gail, of Bangor, Peggy Jarrett and her husband, Joe, of Fort Kent, Amy Blier and her husband, Gil, of Wallagrass, Shirley Cote and her husband, Jason, of Connecticut, and Greg Belanger and his wife, Robin, of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Rodney Belanger Jr., Nikki Lucas, Hannah Zetterman, and Drew Blier; many great-grandchildren; two siblings, Virgina Daigle of New York, and Danny Pinette and his wife, Susan, of Soldier Pond; a sister-in-law, Charlene Pinette of Wallagrass; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by a brother, Ashley Pinette.

Connie's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses, doctors and staff of St. Joseph Memory Care, Frenchville, for their compassionate and dedicated care extended to Connie throughout her stay.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026, at St. Joseph Church, Soldier Pond. Relatives and friends may greet the family Monday morning 9-9:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wallagrass.
