Garland, Maine - 1927-2019

On May 24th, 2019 Clyde W Day, 92, of Garland was reunited with his loving wife in heaven of 65 years, Mable E. Day. Clyde was born April 13, 1927 in Garland Maine, the son of Maurice E Day and Vera (Knight) Day. He was a member of Charleston Church for many years. He was a dairy farmer and also started Day's Milk Transport. A man who was well respected for his honesty, integrity, and great work ethic. "A man of his word." Clyde was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying anything related to nature.

He is survived by two sisters, Velma Hubble of Levant and Marion McLeod of Bangor; three sons; Ron & wife, Pam, Randy, Gene & wife, Aimee, all of Garland and one daughter, Jodi & husband Bob Amoling of Corinth; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

The family is very appreciative of Bobbi Hesseltine of Garland, a devoted caregiver and friend who has become a special part of the family.

A grave side service is planned for Wednesday, May 29th, at 1 pm, Evergreen Cemetery, Campbell Road, Garland. The family would love for you to join in the processional leaving at 12:30 pm from Clyde Day's home on the Day Road, Garland. The processional will be led by Days Transportation.
