Pittsfield, Maine - Clarence J. Churchill, 53, died on April 10, 2025, at his home in Pittsfield. He was born on December 29, 1971, in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, and had been employed as an equipment operator for Sargent Corporation for the last 22 years.
Clarence was a hard-working, honest man. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, and fishing. In his younger years, he liked kick-boxing. He loved his family and just enjoyed being home with them.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rae Jean Churchill; his beloved daughter, Bailey; his mom, Leona Terrill; his siblings, Jeff Churchill, Ken Churchill and wife, Jacki, and Mike Churchill and companion, Maralee Smith; his sister-in-law, Carol Chamberlain; his brother-in-law, Dale Chamberlain and wife, Sandy; and two nephews, Kenny and Mike. He was predeceased by his in-laws, Lindley and Janet Robinson.
A time of visiting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025, at Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield. A committal will take place in the spring at Sawyer Cemetery, Route 7, Plymouth. Care has been provided by Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Pittsfield.
