Joan and family, Art and I are very sad to learn of Chris's passing. We have fond memories of times in the shop with Eddie and then Chris. Please accept our sincere condolences. I envision Chris and Eddie wetting a few flies together.

I am so saddened to read of Chris’s passing. I was Chris's Grade 3 teacher and will never forget that sweet smiling face that greeted me every day for that school year! My sincerest condolences to his entire family.

Chris was a formative element in my life. We were childhood friends and I spent spent many summer days and school year afternoons in the Reif household. Chris introduced me to Ozzy Osbourne and heavy metal in general, a love I still have to this day. He was like the big brother I never had and I will forever cherish making mac and cheese with Chris in Joan's kitchen after school.

Miss you big guy rest well.

Chris and I hungout a lot as kids, running through the woods, fishing, swimming. We also played a whole lotta Dungeons & Dragons those long, cold Maine winters. Chris imagined worlds that were grand, brutal, and startlingly fair. After the rest of the house was asleep it was downstairs for a midnight snack, metal videos on MTV and 80's horror flicks on HBO. Often even more D&D after that, and I never recall him being too tired for more fishing, woods, and metal the next day. Rock on, old friend. You will be missed.
