Bucksport - Christopher "Tiffah" Harris Holyoke, passed away October 30, 2019. He was born January 24, 1978, in Bangor, the son of Robin and Ellen (Dresser) Holyoke.
"Tiffah," as he was commonly referred to, had a great passion for hunting and fishing, and spending time in the woods with his two boys and his brothers. He had great pride in his family, and was well respected in his community, especially the Bald Mountain region in Dedham. You could often find Chris helping a brother with firewood or mowing a neighbor's lawn because of how full his heart was of love. Chris also had a passion for music and loved playing his guitar with the Bald Mountain Boys.
Christopher was employed with Consolidated Communications as a Rated Central Office Technician. The most important things to Chris were his children, family, and friends.
Chris was a dedicated Mason, a member and past Master of the Rising Sun Lodge #71 AF & AM, Orland, and Anah Shriners.
He was predeceased by his mother, Ellen Dresser Holyoke.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole Matson; sons, Trentyn and Gavyn Holyoke; his stepdaughters, Lydia and Mycala Dill; his brothers, Jamie and his wife, Melinda Holyoke, Jesse and his wife, Lindsay Holyoke, Nate and his wife, Olivia Holyoke; Caleb and his wife, Stevie McGary; nieces and nephews, Sam and Ayda Holyoke, Mason Holyoke, Kennedy and Jack Holyoke, Ava and Elliana McGary; as well as a large extended family of cousins and friends.
A Masonic memorial service, conducted by the officers and members of the Rising Sun Lodge, will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., immediately following the service. Highly respected for his work ethic, & a good guy to work with. I never met Chris in person, but my interactions by phone revealed his professionalism. His dedication to customer service over the years made my job easier.

Peace.
